VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

ABOUT US: Obvious Dad is a professional Chattanooga-based theatre company that produces regional and local theatre premieres in an effort to keep Chattanooga's summers interesting. We create bold, aesthetically driven theatre that provides a platform for stories that don't always get represented on local stages. Our defiant theatre spotlight diverse voices, ideas, and expressions.

OUR VOLUNTEERS: Obvious Dad's founding members are all theatre professionals who have worked across the country in their respective fields of design, directing, and casting. Each summer, we provide meaningful volunteer opportunities for college theatre students to gain professional credits before graduating and community members who are seeking to be a part of a professional and meaningful theatre experience. Volunteers will be offered opportunities to work alongside professional theatre makers as members of our design teams, stage managers, technicians, or in other positions they're interested in exploring.
